Registering a domain name and hosting one is usually mistaken by a lot of people to be the same thing. They are in fact two different services - the domain registration is the actual name and nothing else, while the hosted domains feature reveals the amount of already registered domain addresses which you could accommodate within the same web hosting account and have website files and emails for them. Your sites will work in precisely the same way regardless if the domains are registered and hosted at the same place or are registered with company A and pointed to company B. Simply registering a domain without hosting it will grant you ownership, but will not allow you to have a site until you host this domain in some account so that records for it are created and it starts opening the information from that account.
Hosted Domains in Web Hosting
The web hosting plans we offer allow you to host a different number of domains. That way, you can select what package to acquire and how much to pay according to your needs. If you choose to host more domains in the future than the amount the current package permits you to, you can easily upgrade your entire plan or keep the same one and only add more slots for hosted domain addresses. If you decide to use the registration services of some other company, you will be able to see the name servers you have to set for your domains so that you can point them to our cloud platform in the Hosted Domains section of the Control Panel on our end. If you prefer to have everything in one location, however, there is no limit for the number of domain addresses that you can register/transfer as part of your account whatever the hosting plan which you have picked. Then you can decide if you will host any of them or you will direct them to other existing domains.
Hosted Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Our semi-dedicated server packages permit you to host an unlimited amount of domain addresses by default, not by demand or after a paid upgrade. We have ensured that the feature matches the processing power of the plans because it does not sound right to have a massive amount of system resources and be able to use them only for a fixed number of domain names. If you register a new domain address via our company, it will be hosted in your account automatically, so you will not need to do anything manually after that to link it to the account. If you want to host a domain address, that's registered using a different company, you can do so with a couple of mouse clicks and you can see the name servers that you need in your Hepsia Control Panel. The latter was created particularly for multi-domain hosting, so you'll be able to manage all hosted domains in one place easily. You can forget about working with different systems and accounts as you would have to do with other Control Panels.
Hosted Domains in VPS
Our Linux VPS packages can be used to host unrestricted number of domains irrespective of the hosting CP that you select during the ordering process. You'll have plenty of resources at your disposal, so you can decide how many domains will use them. If you get the VPS with DirectAdmin or cPanel, you can create an individual hosting account for every domain address and we don't have a restriction for the number of accounts you can create. If you choose our Hepsia CP, all domain names are going to be handled using one account i.e. there will not be a main domain name and add-on domains as with the other Control Panels. The second option might be more convenient if you don't need to give access to a specific domain to other people and you do not want to switch between accounts to control the domain addresses that you host on the server. In addition, any new domain you register via Hepsia will be hosted automatically on the server without you having to do anything manually after that.
